Feeling like myself after a long time. No constantly checking the phone, no endless conversations it feels so good to just live in the moment. I’m loving the simple flow of everyday life: waking up, heading to work, walking back home, washing up, cooking, eating, and then falling asleep. It’s a routine, and it might sound boring to some people, but honestly, this is what makes me happy. It’s the kind of steady rhythm I’ve always wanted.
That doesn’t mean I’m against trying new things. I went out last weekend, thinking it would be refreshing, but I didn’t feel much. I went to the beach, and while it was nice, it was also… just water and waves. What else is there to see? Maybe if I went somewhere different, it’d feel more exciting, but for now, I’d rather stay home. There’s something comforting about being in your own space, doing what you love, and not having to go out just for the sake of it.
One thing I’m really grateful for is having no commitments that make me constantly check my phone. No obligations to text anyone all the time. It’s a relief, honestly. That space gives me room to focus on myself and what I enjoy.
A little reminder to myself: take care of your hair and skin. Those small things matter, too. Keep showing up for yourself every single day, because it’s the little things that add up to something meaningful.
Turns out, what might seem boring to most people is exactly what I love - a calm, predictable life that feels just right.
